Just because you can’t do everything, it doesn’t mean you shouldn’t do something.
Table 13 is a supper club conceived from a desire to innovate the food industry whilst demonstrating respect: respect for the environment, respect for the way our food is generated and respect for the nourishment given to our bodies. This means, we create everything from it’s whole form, cutting out food miles and over-processing, whilst preserving nutrients and the integrity of the ingredients in the process.
We choose to work like this to deliver delicious natural food, whilst demonstrating that sustainable food business is financially viable. That way, we can encourage the growth of other waste reducing businesses through collaboration, but also simply by demonstrating that it is possible and works.
Meat and fish have dominated menus for years and we feel vegetables should have at least an equal billing, if not the starring role. This strategy is in response to the ongoing plant-based shift we are seeing in the UK and beyond.
